Please introduce yourself.

My name is Mardine Koemans, I’m 23 years old and I’m married. I have a four-year-old daughter and a baby son. I work as a back-office employee. I do administrative jobs, make payments, and am responsible for creditor management and invoices.

How did you join Davis?

Through my brother. He always told me that there was a place for me in the company.

What is the best thing about your job?

I have been given a lot of career opportunities and growing responsibilities.

I work for Davis, because…

It is a family company. That’s what makes it personal, like coming home. I’m able to be myself. I also enjoy the flexibility and the career opportunities.

What do you add to the Davis family?

I am the mum of the family: I take care of the boys and draw their attention to the everyday/mundane things in the company, like loading and unloading the dishwasher, haha.

What is your favourite produce?

I’ll pick the strawberries. They have a fine/delicate taste and I like to combine them with yoghurt, ice cream, pancakes, or ‘poffertjes’ (a Dutch pancakelike treat). And they are a favourite with chocolate fondue.
